30A Beach Guide is written and maintained by a small independent team that plans, books, and takes 30A trips and got tired of guides that read like ads. We publish under a team byline while the project is young; no invented personas, no stock headshots pretending to be staff.

The rules we work by

• Every stated rule names the authority that sets it, with a link.
• Every best-of list prints its inclusion criteria on the page.
• Every page carries its update date, and edits change the date.
• No sponsored placements, no pay-for-position, no affiliate-ordered rankings.
• When we cannot verify something, we say so or leave it out. An honest gap beats a confident guess.

What this site is not

We are not the county, not the tourism bureau, and not a rental company. For official beach conditions always defer to the South Walton Fire District; for bookings, our sibling site 30A Hideaways handles the rental side of the network with the same honesty rules.
